Er...  Didn't Dolph go through a wheat shredder in the first movie?

edit to add: reading a synopsis, it appears he is a clone.  Will he have the same memories and personality?  Who knows...

That said, while I was dismissive of this at first, there are a couple of good signs.

It's made by father-son team John and Peter Hyams.  Peter did the cinematography, and he is the man who did the cinematography (as well as directing) The Musketeer, End of Days, Stay Tuned, and Outland.  Say what you will about those movies, but the man knows how to make a film look good.

John did the directing, and he has directed several smaller films, all of which are apparently quite good.  Looking at the stunt people, production design, etc, there's a lot of good people on it.  Doesn't mean it will be worthwhile, but there's hope.
