Computer Problem

I've been having a computer problem that's been going on for weeks.
Whenever I bring up the task manager, it shows multiple instances of iexplorer.exe running.
To my knowledge there should only be one of that process running, but there are sometimes up to 4-5 of that process running simultaneously on my computer.

It's hogging up a ton of CPU power and resources.

I've tried looking up a solution online but every fix for it seems insanely complicated.  No single website seems to have an easy solution.
From what I've read, it appears to be the work of a Trojan of some kind.
I ran aSquared the other day and it found three Trojans.  I deleted all of them from my computer but it didn't stop this main problem.
AVG anti-virus nor any other spyware/malware removal tool has been successful at locating it.

At this point, I think I'm going to download Mozilla Firefox.
Everyone tells me how much more secure it is.

I decided to run HijackThis.
Can one of you who are good at interpreting HijackThis data take a look at the log below and see if you can pinpoint the culprit for me?
I'd be eternally grateful.  There's karma in it for whoever can help.

I had a Trojan horse a while ago, but AVG found it and fixed it.  I was reading up on it, and some guy at AVG says you should go into AVG's scan settings and uncheck "scan infectable files only".  That way it scans the whole computer, not just the usual stuff.  Apparently Trojan horses can rewrite themselves to places scanners don't normally look.  Makes the scan take twice as long though.

Anyhow, worth a try I suppose.

These two jump out at me, and the reason is the unusual caps in the names.  I'm used to seeing both of them all lowercase.  Both of those file names are the names of legitimate (and critical) Windows components.  However, I'm used to seeing the names all lower case.  It doesn't mean that they are trojans, just something to look into.

I've seen multiple different reasons that iexplore.exe uses lots of CPU.  Chasing that down will probably take some looking.  It will probably do that whether or not you are using IE to browse the web.

That's a good start, but explorer.exe refers to Windows Explorer; I think Internet Explorer is ie.com or something (way to Microsoft for naming two programs the same thing!). Windows Explorer is necessary to run Windows, so installing Firefox won't eliminate it from your processes list.
