Just by chance, we reviewed an unusual number of b-movies this week:
Eric Young covered the zombie-esque independent movie
PONTYPOOLI tackled
BRAINIAC, the creature whose "head is hung with more phallic symbols per square inch than any other Mexican monster of its era," and
CITY NINJA, the crazy-assed sex & kung fu flick that may or may not have been written by incoherent ninja maestro Godfrey Ho.
On a more serious note,
PAN'S LABYRINTH became our 40th movie to be "certified weird."
Please enjoy this week's unusually thick flow of b-movie badness.
