I'd have Trevor as a neighbor any time with certain conditions, keep those underpants corralled and I would have to put my Star Trek collectibles under lock and key.

AndyC would make a nice neighbor, as would Ed (we Eds need to stick together).   Across the street would be the lovely Paula.  You rarely find a friend that is both gorgeous and loves the same crappy old movies you do.

I think we should fly Trevor's underpants on the flag pole as our official banner . . .

1.) Neighbour to the left: AndyC - it'd be nice to be able to visit.  Neighbour to the right: Andrew.  And my daughter could babysit for either/both of them.
2.) Neighbour across the street: Trekgeezer or Jack.  Close enough for those remember-when get-togethers.
3.) Up the road: Trevor.  Close enough to drop by for tea or a meal (or an evening or a movie!); far enough to have his own space.  My kids would love to have an honourary "Uncle Zombie"
4.) Several blocks away, but in walking distance: Doggett, or Derf, or Javakoala.  (Actually, I could go on listing if I think about it...)  Maybe Allhallows...Darksider?...or Burgo...hmmm  Paquita or ER would be fun...

But I am still not doing anybody's laundry!

That's okay Newt, I'm good at laundry and scrubbing toilets, just don't ask me to do dishes.

My pleasure to be Uncle Zombie to your kids.  Smile

Most adults, like my clients who don't know me well and look in my eyes, sometimes take a step backwards. I was once told that I have a madness in my eyes and also that they are very angry ones.

Buttttt......... I have never met a child of any age  who's looked in my eyes and has run screaming to his / her parents. Kids like me, I don't know why but I like them too.

Hmmm, this is tough. I'd gladly have any of you guys as neighbours and I don't want to hurt any feelings. Here goes.

Next door, I have to go with Circus on one side, since he won't complain if I feel the need to listen to Headpins at full volume once in a while. And vice versa.

Probably Darksider on the other side. He seems like somebody I'd get along with.

Across the street, probably Newt. I think her family and mine would probably hit it off, but I wouldn't want her close enough to be bothered by all the loud heavy metal.

And down the street, possibly Ash. He likes a good steak and generally seems like somebody you could hang out and just do guy stuff with.

Of course, I'd want everybody else in the same town. Indy could teach my daughter's class. Trevor could be that chatty guy who always seems to be at the donut shop at any time of day. Burgomaster seems like a natural for mayor. TeddyR

If it wouldn't be too far beyond the scope of this thread, I could probably find a place for all the regulars in my town.

1.) A neighbor to the left  - Circus and Doggett rooming together.  I have a feeling they'd get along like the Odd Couple and it would be a hoot to live next door to them.

AND right of you (next door obviously) - Javakoala because I want to come over and watch movies with him in the middle of the night.

2.) A neighbor across the street - Jack because he seems like the type who often wanders out of his house complaining to himself and it would be fun to peek out and giggle at him.  AND so we can try to show eachother up every year with holiday decor.

3.) A person who lives up the road - Either RC, Ghouck, or MeQal because they all have an abundance of outrageous/educational life experiences and I could probably listen to them for hours on end.  They would also be excellent neighborhood security.. but I think they might cause some occasional small explosions so I kind of want them to be farther down the road for safety purposes.

4.) A person who lives several blocks from you in walking distance - Newt or Paula would be nice to have for some lady company... and Newts daughter can babysit for me!

I've just realized that there isn't a decent donut shop in Pretoria central at all. In the suburbs, yes but not around here. Smile

Ok, after much thought... for near neighbors I'd like Trek (he seems easy to get along with), IndianaSmith for interesting BBQ discussions, Ash and AndyC seem like good sorts to have nearby, and I'd REALLY like to see Trevor's workplace.

I'd love to just poke around a film archive and see whats there.  Maybe one of those silly cars from Space Mutiny is hidden somewhere... that was made in SA.  I fact, I'll have Trevor use it to get to work, albeit rather slowly.
