It's been almost 2 years since I first created B-movie Magic cards.
The first two volumes were pretty good.  Volume 3 was decent, but not as good as the first two.

Every now and then I get an overwhelming urge to create something...anything.
It took hold of me tonight and I cranked out 26 new B-movie Magic the Gathering cards.

Each card could really be played in an actual game.
I hope you like them.   Smile

Mr. H, but only because of the brilliant quote.    Wink

Seriously, very good job on these.  Makes me wish I understood the game.

How about making some with the crew from this forum on them.  I'd love to have myself immortalized on a magic card.  You could have a picture of me holding my staff (not THAT staff . . . the other one).   Buggedout

Send me a picture of yourself and I'll make one.

Anyone else want one made of them?

I know people who are jealous when I show them that Magic card you made of me.

Good work as usual, Ash. Have you managed to play any of these in an actual game?

Late to the bandwagon on this one, but these are quite impressive. I do have to admit that I have no idea about the game. I tried playing one based on Warhammer one time and my head nearly exploded as we kept finding situations that never quite fit with the rules and were open to wild interpretation by various people in the game.

Now if there was a game like this with quick and easy rules that had the world of weird and crappy movies as the backdrop, I'd be buying those suckers every paycheck, even if I had no one to play with.  Have you considered reworking the game play and piecing together a card game like that?  Seems like you have the knack for it.  You know you'd have at least 30 or more decks sold just to the people on this forum.

Javakoala, there is a fantastic game from Z-Man Games called "Graverobbers from Outer Space."  It's something like $14 for the complete game, though there are expansions that add other genres -- "Bellbottom Badasses in the Mean Streets of Funkytown" for blaxsploitation, for example.

Eh, it's sold out.

I'd like to see images from low-budget movies on the cards. That would be a hoot, like the ones Ash did.  It would add an extra bit of spice and enjoyment to collecting the cards.
