hi everyone! You have helped me before so I hope you can help me again. When I was a kid ( in the 80's) I saw a movie where a man takes his eye out and puts in in a flower pot. Thats all I remember. I would have seen this movie on tv. Late at night when I should have been sleeping. Can anyone help. I am sorry thats all I remember.

That sounds like Brother From Another Planet.

I may have to watch this one. I do remember that the movie was set in a big city. The scene with the eyeball happened when he was coming into or out of a building with stairs like you would see in new york or some other large city. Thanks

I'm nearly 100% positive that's the movie.  The black guy with the removed eyeball was an alien (as the title implies) who was a good alien (and never spoke), while 2 bad guys dressed like Men In Black went after him; I think they were aliens too.  I can't remember why the guy took his own eyeball out.

I found the scene on a trailer. That has creeped me out for so many years. Yes it is brother from another planet. I thought it was a more serious film but thats what happens when you see a late night movie as a kid. Thanks retrorussell  Twirling
