When I was a kid I saw (twice!) on TV a movie about an evil guy who is executed (decapitated) and his head and body are buried apart to keep the evil guy from re-joining and doing more evil.

It's a 50's (?) flik that starts with a woman looking for water with a divining rod.  Instead of water, she finds the head and body.  Later they are put in the same room and re-join and the evil guy starts doing what he does.

Anyone remember this one?
