I think the list is bit out of order, considering number 10 should be ranked a bit higher, but all of these games deserve to be on this list.  Enjoy!

I hope you haven't eaten in a while, because this will be messy!

Kind of amusing that two of the titles mentioned are exclusive to the Wii.

The recent Dragon Age: Origins isn't really that bloody. However, if you're characters get in a melee battle, they will be covered in blood spatters until they leave the area they are in. A nice touch, evident in all the cut scenes.

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

I recently bought a used copy of MadWorld. I still haven't decided if I like it. It is definitely bloody. Veeeeeery bloody. In trying for a "more mature" audience, the announcers seem to feel compelled to drop the dreaded f-bomb two or three times in every sentence. I'm not offended by it or anything, but it gets annoying. And it's a bit awkward when my daughter comes in and sits down to watch me play. It just seems unnecessary; it doesn't really add anything to the gameplay, and it stops being even mildly amusing after a couple of minutes.

I've never even heard of several of the games in the video. I guess I'm way out of the video game loop.

I know, especially when lots of Xbox & Playstation fanboys say that the Wii is a kid's console.

Don't feel so bad about it.  Even in all of my useless knowledge of video games, I have never heard of the number one game before this list.

No More Heroes would probably be #1 if its blood stayed on the floor.  The kills in that game have more blood than any of the others in the countdown.

Quake shouldn't even be on there though, as Doom 1 and 2 are actually bloodier.  Maybe if it was a GORE countdown, but it's not.

I agree about Quake and a lot of people I have heard from on Gametrailers agree about that.  The game should have been moved out for a far bloodier game.
