Not to be a killjoy here, because I like this game, but I find myself making posts that aren't necessarily my exact opinion when a film gets close to the bottom or the top just so I may get the opportunity to add a film. Does anyone else do this?

I don't, but I think about it. I imagine that if my second choice was within one of being eliminated or enshrined I'd vote for it instead of my top choice so I could nominate the next one, but that situation hasn't come up yet. It does seem like a movie gets extra momentum and extra cotes when it gets near the top or the bottom. I suspect that's the way it plays out on any board. |
