I remember a bad movie I saw once -- I can't remember the name of it.  I might even be remembering some of the details wrong.

Some scientists go on an expedition into the jungle to find a giant gorilla.  They find a camp of "savages" or the like who are worshiping the gorilla.  The cute girl befriends the gorilla by removing a sliver from its foot, as I recall.  Then, as I recall, they are all attacked by a dinosaur, consisting of a dinosaur head and an arm that are controlled separately.

It had some awesome visual effects, including one shot where the t-rex an eraser on the end of a pencil bobbing up and down on a fake horizon.  And another where the man in the gorilla suit is made to look "large" because he is standing next to the camera, and the actors are standing a lot farther back.

I think the title of the movie contains the name of the gorilla, but I'm not sure.

Help?
