Hi there all at badmovies, me & my sister remember a film that was shown in the mid to late seventies here in the UK about a vicious rapist / murderer stalkiing women. The film was a US film & made in the 70's. Filmed on the streets of New york, or similar, i remember it being quite sleazy where pimps hung out & that kind of thing. The storyline was about a woman, who was either being stalked or had been raped by this very scary looking guy with a bald head. Dark eyes ,slim of build & very intimidating. There is a scene in the film where the woman is dreaming & within the dream sequence the Bald man is running after her down the stair steps of her house. The rapist / bald man had jeans on & could of been bare chested for this scene. As the woman reaches the door handle, the guy catches her & she awakes from the nightmare. Also the other scene i remember is right at the end (i think) where the rapist has kidnapped either the woman he is after or another woman in a trashy apartment block with a Billboard poster  situated outside the building, ending where either the victim or the rapist is hurtled out of the apartment through the billboard poster & out onto the street. That's all i can remember of the film. I think it was a film opposed to a TV movie, but i can't be sure of that. Really quite frightening although it was a thriller more than a horror film. I can't remember any actors in the film, i don't remember anyone famous in the film but there could of been. Any info would be most appreciated, thanks for reading this - Bluetank41.

I'd guess you're thinking of Charlie from the '79 film Delirium. He looks like Telly Savalas and goes nuts killing people.

I agree with Rayo - it sounds like DELIRIUM.
