I'm sure you'll be happy to know that I made an exception for the Dead Milkmen, one of the few punk bands with a sense of humor.
Great band.  And, they're from my hometown, Philly. Wink

Yeah.  I lived in SE PA at the time (when they were active and recording).   Smile  But The Hooters were more popular.  Lookingup

I was alive when they were active, but entirely too young to listen to them.  I was born in '84.  Discovered them on a local college station about 3 years ago and have collected several albums since.  I am not too fond of the Hooters.  Decent enough hits, but I'm not a huge fan.  Then again, I'm more fond of punk.  Milkmen are up there for me.

To be honest, I just find their music to be somewhat generic and otherwise annoying and forgettable. I hated their videos. But I think this might just be a personal taste thing.

I didn't like them at first.  But, I bought a few cd's, and got to see them live.  No big deal, personal tastes are personal tastes.  I don't like some bands that get nominated.  I'll say this much though, they put on a hell of a live show.  I hate "jam" bands, but they did a song, that on cd was about 6.5 minutes long.  Live, it went on for 22 minutes.  Funny thing is, other 'jam' bands like Phish and all, I dislike for that same reason.  Odd.
