it was about 1980 ,the movie had bikers attacking people with swords not sure if they were zombies or not it was a drive inn with several screens and the show was playing at the other but was more interesting than the one i was watching any ideas i have been looking at the video stores for years an not had any luck .

Sounds like the original DAWN OF THE DEAD.Tom Savini and bikers are killing zombies with swords .Positive.

Only Tom Savini had a sword, but he used it pretty memorably.

Another Romero movie, Knightriders came out in 1981 and has knights jousting and such on motorcycles.
