A few titles off the top of my head:

KUNG FU HUSTLE
MASTER OF THE FLYING GUILLOTINE
FANTASY MISSION FORCE
ENTER THE DRAGON (of course)

A find a lot of kung fu movies tend to be entertaining, but interchangeable.  I like to watch them, but sometimes it doesn't seem to matter that much which one I throw in the player.  They're all so ridiculous, it takes a lot for one to stand out from the pack.

No wire-fu at all.   It gets on my nerves.  I love watching real artists like Masta Bwuce.  It much better yo see a real fighter than some actor up on strings doing patently impossoble stuff.

Its a lousy film, but I like Bloodsport just for all the different fighting styles.

I love kung fu films, but I agree with you on that.  Particularly those from the Golden Age - 1972ish to about 1981.

One of the more recent ones to stand out is Ip Man.  It's a great film on a martial arts level, as well as a good film from a narrative stand point.  Even the performances are good.  The ending is a little weak though, I must say.

Aside from that one, a *martial arts* movie (almost no bare handed fighting) that I enjoyed a lot is One Armed Swordsman.  It's another one that actually has a good storyline, good directing and performances, as well as entertaining fight sequences (it's from 1967, though, so the choreography is quite primitive compared to later works).  The sequel's plot and storyline stuff is not nearly as good, but it vastly amps up the body count and expands into almost superherodom for the lead character, making it still a very entertaining film.

There's the amped up new trailer by Celestial.

Another very enjoyable one is She Shoots Straight.  Stars Joyce Godenzi, a woman who started in HK action films with no martial arts training.  She's very impressive considering this.  Never enjoyed much success (something many attribute to racism, as she is half-white), but her handful of films are worth checking out, especially She Shoots Straight.  Probably has the best catfight on film.

Actually, I grew up watching alot of the Bruceploitation films starring Bruce Li. I actually liked alot of them, especially Bruce Lee: the Man, the Myth. But I will agree with alot of the other mentions as well. Master of the Flying Guillotine was big for me when I was a boy.
