Or at least some good bargains on DVD's at Big Lots.

I would wish people a Happy New Year but I currently have a freaked out cat clawing me in the leg cause of fireworks. Everytime someone sets one off around my home her runs and jumps up on me, digging his claws into me.

Just got back from the karaoke bar. My sister and some douchebag almost got into a scuffle when he tried to collect party favors the bar provided.. wtf? Those are free! Dumb@ss. She was getting rude, he just HAD to be right, etc. Even though the guy was tiny and I could kick his butt into next week I'm glad nothing happened.

I watched and reviewed THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD as an example of a film marking a transitional period in horror cinema. Today, I'm reviewing a second such transitional film, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.

Happy New Year!

I rang in the new year with my friend, the potty. My daughter was sick on the 30th for like 6 hours and then everyone else got it on the 31st... I'm going on my 25th hour now.. oh to be little again! This is probably the worst stomach/intestinal/whatever virus we've ever had, but I think I'm on the road to wellness now.
