I'm torn on this, as most metal goes against organized forms of religion and is seen as the ultimate rebellion. But, it would be cool in a way. A year or two ago, many people here in the UK listed "Jedi" as their creed and it is now recognised as the 4th or 5th biggest religion...

That is so lame - I'd be a Sith, or some denomination of the Dark Side at least.  Evil will always triumph over good, because good is dumb!

Back in the day-metal and punk wasn't just music....it was a way of life! If scientology and satanism and wiccan can be a religion...why not metal? Some people thought Manson was Jesus Christ. As they say in AA...a higher power can be anything....(mine is Lugosi....yes I am that warped...he beat drug addiction at the age of 72...and he still wanted to work! And did! An inspiration for me. If he never gave up hope...at that late in his life...how could I? I will follow.)

that being sed...

The God of the Bible is still good enough for me.

Count me out.

But I will still occasionally listen to some metal bands . . .
