Hi can anyone please help me cos this has been driving me mad -
I had a film on vhs from late 80s, maybe early 90s though don't think it was that recent. It was about a young man being bullied by a gang so he gets his revenge by rigging up an old house with illusions and tricks to scare them (think his uncle may have been a magician). The only other bits I remember are:
 - at one point he's holding a pencil between his fingers and shaking it so it looks wobbly!
 - the gang may have gatecrashed a party of some sort
 - his (uncle?) tells him "don't get angry, get even"
 - when inside the rigged house, the leader of the gang looks in a  mirror and his face looks scarred/disfigured.

Hope someone can put me out of my misery!! Twirling

It may be The New Kids from 1985.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089679/

Two orphaned teens go to live with their uncle, who owns an old carnival. They get terrorized by a local gang and at one point they get even in the way you describe.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.
