Can anyone remember what was the title of the movie, where a group of scientists somehow open a portal to a dimension with huge eye aliens, and then one alien crawls through this portal and starts raping with his tentacles everybody???

A scientist is working on a device that opens another dimenson, which stimulates the pineal gland. He gets eaten by a monster and then returns in a constantly mutating form to attack some other scientists. The pineal gland, when it's coming out of the head does look like an eye on a stem.

I could not locate a 1970 movie named "Contamination."  The one I think you mean is the 1980 film.  There is an alien in that with a big eye, but nothing else matches.  It does not come through a portal and no tentacle rape happens.  What most people remember about "Contamination" (1980) is the alien avocado egg things that make people explode.
