Difficult to say what's best. The thing I like about pizza is everybody makes it a little bit differently, and most are good.

I have fond childhood memories of a place called the Pizza Palace, located on the main drag of my hometown. It was apparently a chain, although I can only remember ever seeing one other like it. The building had a fake Persian palace facade on it, which was so weird in a small town, but that's what I liked about it. I don't remember much (it was torn down sometime in the early 80s) but I do remember loving the pizza. It was spicy, and had lots of flavour.

The other place in town was a place called Pizza Delight, which might even be the best pizza I've ever had. It left around the late 80s. As I understand it, the chain retreated back where it came from. Since we got satellite TV, we've been seeing Pizza Delight ads from the east coast, where it is still going strong. That alone could entice me to visit New Brunswick again.

I also have fond memories of a place called Mother's Pizza Parlour and Spaghetti House, another small chain that, sadly, went bust years ago. Amazing pizza. A rare treat when I was a kid.

And when we lived in the city, it was Pizza Pizza. Lots of standard pizzas, lots of toppings to choose from, great package deals, decent wings and several flavours of dipping sauce for the crust. Even better was when they got online ordering. Convenience, variety, and a good value for money. Can't complain about that. http://www.pizzapizza.ca

There were a couple of other regional chains I liked, but what I love best is independent pizza. The latest pizzeria to open in my hometown was a place called Raphael's, owned by a guy named....Joe. It had the benefit of being the first independent pizza place in town not owned by a Greek or a Turk. Sure, Joe was Portuguese, but that was closer to Italian than we'd had previously. TeddyR

Since we moved away from the urban sprawl, it's been strictly Mom and Pop pizza. The thing I love about that is it's just like the old days. Every town has it's own unique little pizza shop, and they all have their own way of making it. We get pizza about once a week from a place called Enzo's, owned by a guy named....Lawrie, who has a British ancestry as far as I can tell. Actually, I think we'll be getting some pizza from there tonight. I've gone most of the day on bagels and coffee, and I'm starved. This discussion isn't helping either.

Living in Chicago, I suppose it would be bad of me to say that I really like Pizza Hut pizza with cheese in the crust, huh?

Lot's of people I know like Lou Malnatti's pizza.. I don't because the crust is like day old bread that's been soaked in grease and then deep fried.
Giordanos is pretty popular too, and I DO like them, but for some reason I vomit sometimes after eating their pizza... I continue to eat it though because it's so f'n good but I'm probably slowly poisoning myself today OR I'm slowly building an immunity.

Then there's Ginos East which I think is one of the "legendary" Chicago pizza places, but I don't live close enough to get pizza from there regularly so I don't remember how good it is.  Most of the other local pizza places around here have pretty decent thin crust pizza, you can't really go wrong.

Anyone try to "new" Dominos.  I always hated Dominos pizza because of their sauce tasting like ketchup.  I did dig their Philly Cheesesteak pizza though.

I haven't tried the new Domino's Pizzas yet.  But I was also a fan of the Philly pizza.  I was really a sucker for anything Philly-related.

I used to love Godfather's back in the day.  Their pizzas were massive and choc full of good stuff.  I think they still have jumbo pizzas but they don't deliver to my neck of the woods.

cristy's pizza....hampton NH

I used to go there back in the 1980s after a night of drinking at Club Casino or some other place on Hampton Beach.

Rocky Rococo's used to have awesome pizza back in the '80s.  These thick, rectangular pieces that tasted magnificent.  We ate at one a while back though and it was nothing special at all, just a thin film of mozzarella over an inch and a half of crust.

Whales Tail sounds familiar.  We used to go to some of the bars and clubs along Hampton Beach on summer nights.  We called Hampton Beach the "Yo Zone" because there were always cars full of young guys driving up and down the strip yelling "Yo!" out the window when they saw good looking girls walking by.  I'm sure the girls were really impressed.  We were in one bar and a really drunk woman who was about 15 - 20 years older than me grabbed my ass on the dance floor and said "Happy Memorial Day."  I don't think it was even Memorial Day.
