Ah, the old shuffle quiz!  I did mine and it came up unusually jazz-heavy...

Gaviota - Amalia Rodriguez (not on youtube)

Reis glorios - Giraut de Bornelh

I get the oddest looks when I tell people I love Insane Clown Posse. Everyone knows I dislike rap with a passion, but they don't listen when I try to tell them ICP isn't really rap...then I tell them my favorite artist of all time is Suzanne Vega(yes, yes, Circus, mousy women singing about drinking tea--fat chance, clown boy  BounceGiggle ), and then they usually stop asking me about my favorite music.

ICP tune that is very NSFW!!!!!!!!!

And the lovely Suzanne who is always safe for work

When I was a kid my fave bands were Maiden, Pink Floyd, and The Police. I still listen to them to this day. After that, I got into thrash, death metal, and Earache bands (Carcass, Godflesh, etc). Now I'll listen to pretty much anything as long as it's not popular music. I really enjoy old school blues (Howlin' Wolf, John Lee Hooker), Billie Holiday, electronic music (Skinny Puppy, Controlled Bleeding, Scorn), and lots of 80s music - be it pop or metal.

I never understood long long lists, though lists are what all us Badmovie lovers seem to do best.   TongueOut  Now heapsa youtubes is another matter.   Wink
The diversity that some see in their own tastes is myopic; it's all Pop, whatever it likes to call itself.  Now Jazz is another matter.  Or "classical" selections which run the gamut from Baroque to Romantic to Expressionist to Avant Garde to... perfection:
