this is from what i remember.  i could be wrong but anyway here we go.

it is like 6-7ppl wind up having to survive the night in a church i think fighting off demons.  one guy is carrying the blood of jesus with him.  he has had it since one of the ww.  like every so many years the chosen person changes.  he dies at the end of the movie and i think a girl takes his place.  something to do with the bloodline of jesus as well.  if you know the name please let me know.  it is stuck in my head.  thank you.

That would be Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight, starring Thomas Haden Church, William Sadler, Jada Pinkett (Smith), Dick Miller, and Billy Zane! Great flick; lots of fun!

No need to ponder, Vane. "Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight" is a great movie, and of all the death scenes I have seen in a film, the death scene of Irene (CCH Pounder) and Deputy Bob (Gary Farmer) has to be one of the best. Of course, if you said you loved "Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood" . . . ?
