This was on TCM one night late.  I recall this evil fellow with a goatee who had a female accomplice. I think they were plotting the death of someone.  It was black and white until the evil guy had a vision he was in hell.  There were naked people all around being tortured and he went on a tour.  He basically gets out of the vision but he is shaken by the experience.  I just remember the hell footage being real graphic and disturbing.  I think they were speaking Spanish in the film but I'm not sure.

Was the guy Coffin Joe by any chance?



I forget which Coffin Joe movie has a plot like that, but if it's not him no need to continue down this road.

The tour of hell and switch to color sounds like Jigoku, which is a Japanese film about hell.

The rest of the movie doesn't sound too similar though.
