Is it really that bad? I bought the DVD for my nephew (who's 9) so...

There is some wasted talent in this movie, but by about half way through I was no longer paying it any real attention. I wasn't even following the plot and couldn't tell you what it was. At the end of the film someone who had died was brought back (a fairly annoying character. I hadn't noticed him dying, so his resurrection was a surprise). I think the film involved dragons, a staff and Jeremy Irons (cf wasted talent).
