I'm sorry, did I break your concentration?

About 25 minutes ago (4:00 AM) we were rudely awakened by a 4.4 (preliminary figure from Cal-Tech) earthquake, moderate size, broke a couple of nic-nacs. The epicenter was about 4 - 5 miles south of us. After checking the house for damage and gas leaks, all is well, I'm going back to sleep.

Trying to fall asleep - I have to catch a flight to Cape Town tomorrow  and I don't really like flying.

Man, I love flying.  I'm overdue for a ticket out of town.

A little after midnight PT.  Eating a cheapo ramen dinner with veggies and hot dogs.  What can I say, I'm crazy frugal.

I'm just about to leave to have a spinal tap performed on me.  It will measure the pressure of the fluid in my brain.

The procedure should be fairly quick and no more than an hour but I have to stay at the hospital for about 3 hours after that to rest.  I hope the spinal tap wears me out because I am a very restless person and have no desire to lay down for 3 hours in the middle of the afternoon on a gorgeous day.

I will probably have to lay down for the rest of the day here at home too.  Bluesad

Oh well, at least I get a break from school to watch movies. TeddyR

I am crying inside.. the Blazers are having a hard time with the Wizards.  Pathetic.  Just seconds left in the game, tied.  Ugh.
