Drinking whiskey-waiting for my sister to show up. She was supposed to be here hours ago. I'm getting p**sed! It's showing in my posts. I just hammered a Earl Hammer TV show on WORST TV SHOWS thread. Yeah-Earl Hammer. The girly man who gave us The Waltons and-ACK! Apples Way.

Eating Ritz Toasted Chips and sipping Cherry Coke on my break.  Nice, easy day at work today but Monday will suck.

Feeling lonely.  Wishing I had friends to go out and do something with.  Real friends, not those that just come around because you're the only one they can hang out with at the moment or they need a ride somewhere.

I've just fed the possums who live in my roof.  Now I'm watching Air Crash Investigations, drinking coffee and knitting.

Giving an update on my old horse:  he is doing well, for now.  He has a large cancerous growth in his belly that is expected to continue to enlarge to the point that it obstructs his bowels.  Unfortunately, with horses surgery is extremely risky, very expensive and in this sort of case not very effective.  We have him on a fairly laxative diet to help keep everything moving by the obstruction, but it is only a matter of time.  He has made it longer than the one week the vet originally predicted: I know the man was being conservative, but he did say that the longest he has had such a case go was three months.  So for now, the horse (his name is "Wellington" btw) is still fat and happy - actually happIER since he is feeling a bit better and being pampered with all sorts of treats and indulgences.  Which, given his personality, he takes as his due.

I am posting old stories about the beastie in my 'notes' on FB.

Thank you to everyone who has thought of us.  It does help.

Doing some pre-cooking for tomorrow. I just finished putting together a large pan of baked ziti, and I've got brownies baking in the oven.   Smile

Here's a preview: all of your old wild friends are now very religious (and think you are most likely going to Hell), play 'Farm Town', and looove to share photos of their fat babies. They daydream all day about "being on the beach with my best friend - my hubby!!! LOL!".

Looking at the NASA site and browsing through all the current space missions.  Up at the top of the page there's the heading "popular missions".  But no category for "unpopular missions".
