Watching Trick 'R Treat and having a few beers.

Wait a sec', Trevor is having a beer? Good for you.

It's so hot here, I bought two Lion Lagers today: both gone.  Drink Smile

Strange to think that at one time in SA, all bars and liquor shops were closed on Sundays.

Preparing to go to my paternal cousin's twentieth birthday party, which will be a nice affair, I'm sure, but I doubt it'll reach the gaudy heights of my maternal cousin's thirteenth birthday party yesterday.

That was a whopping big deal because at thirteen my maternal cousin can now freely choose for himself, as a proclaimed adult, to do what he's said for three years he's wanted to do and convert to Reform Judaism. (His mother married a Jewish man who has been an inspiring father figure in my cousin's life since he was little.)

We're all taking bets to see if his and my uber-Catholic grandmother will survive his defection to the Tribe.

Hava negila, everyone!

Back at work temporarily to assist a colleague with a client: when that's done, I'm officially on holiday until October.  Thumbup

Taking some time to catch up with the world. I suspect that is a big mistake.

Considering "8 silent ways to kill a man" (it is something from a book I am reading. Bonus karma to anyone who has read it and can identify it).
