It is weird to write the name Uwe Boll in a "good movies" thread but I was at the South African premiere of his locally filmed
Darfur last night. The film is horribly brutal, bloody, depressing ~ I cried bitterly at the end ~ but at the end, there is some hope.
Damn hard to believe that Uwe Boll could make a great film but he has done this. I told the producer Chris Roland that it had been a very long time since I cried in a cinema, that the Uwe Boll that made stuff like
House Of The Dead was gone and that "Uncle" Uwe now had a new fan: me.
