If Jesus had been killing people, then yes, that quote would mean that his followers who believed in him would also kill people.  But I don't know where you pulled that quote from so I can't suggest an explanation in context.

The quote is from the Gospel of John (Ch. 16, I think) and it is taken WAY out of context.  These guys are morons, BTW.  That does not necessarily mean they are Christian morons.  Unless the whole thing is a goofy satire, in which case I find it fairly amusing.
