Wasn't the prequel a full on horror?

Yup, I have. It's not exactly a horror movie, more like a sci-fi movie (think "Food Of The Gods"-type mutation sci-fi, not the futuristic aliens and robots sci-fi everyone thinks about when you say "sci-fi") with a drama portion tied into it (the autistic kid who sees Ben as a best friend.) The kid is an Aspberger's stereotype, and I have a MUCH less severe case of said disorder-all it does to me is give me dog-like supersonic hearing. But enough nitpicking-it's worth the price of admission alone to hear MICHAEL JACKSON sing the theme song! Mikey was such a cute kid....makes you wonder why he decided to wreck his face like that! Just one of the unsolved mysteries of the universe, I suppose...

Is this the sequal to that movie....um....Ernest Borgnine eaten by rats...."Willard", Thats it! I think i read the book version of this flick. Kid loves rat, kid looses rat, rat eats sewer workers and cops, rats dies, kid ends up with super intelligent rat babies....is that the one?

"Ben" is the sequel to "Willard."  

"Willard" is okay, I guess.  Would say it was "a full on horror."  Never saw the end of it.

Never saw "Ben."  Always just missed it when on television.  Blessing or curse?  Don't know.

Full of fragments today.  Don't know why.  Oh well.
