I am entering a battle of the bands style contest for an upcoming movie called Stripperland. It is a spoof on Zombieland. The winner gets a free music video. But they are using the top 10 bands in the movie. 10 out of 40, so we get in we have a pretty good chance to get on the soundtrack.

My band is called Death Popsicle.

Any advice on what type pf song to use. We are only 2 in the band. Should we wear zombie makeup? Have dancers?

What type of song would you most like to hear on a zombie soundtrack? Obviously not a ballad. The music is goth/industrial, but there are ballads and waltzes too.

I am not actually sure how the notification system is supposed to work, as I've never turned it on.  You might try asking in the "trouble tickets" section of the board: http://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php/board,5.0.html.

I would go with something loud and fast.. sorta speed metal-ish perhaps.
Is this film a zombie flick taking place at a strip bar..?  Or do you know much of the plot?  Whatever the plot of the film is you should base your costumes/fellow performers around that.  If it's got both strippers and zombies, the dancers/backup singers should dress as strippers and the actual band members go as zombies.
Way to represent Portland!  Good luck!

yeah, i definitely notice that metal is still in style for movies. i have heavy beats, more industrial
but the line between metal and metal with heavy industrial sound is blurring

and they had advertised the movie as "quintessentially portland" cause portland has the most strip bars per capita than anywhere in the us

the virus in this film only affects women and turns them into stripper zombies. that is all i know. i also had another thread in the forums cause more recently i actually appeared as a zombie extra. all we did though were many scenes in a mall and one scene where i get to eat brains while the other zombies chewed on the innards  Twirling
