With out question my No. 1 is BEN AFFLECK.
He always reminds me of Bela Lugosi in Plan 9, .  . . a dead actor in a movie he never had the chance even to read the script. It makes me wonder over and over why any casting director let this shmock even enter a film set. He must have a hell of an agent.

But I was really flattened when I saw his brother as Robert Ford. Seems Casey got all the talent meant for both.

half the cast of the Twlight movies.  All I;ve seen of them is what's on the trailers-and I can tell none of them have any talent.

Most probably fit into the changing professions category: model/actress (Cindy Crawford, Olga Schoberová, Rebecca Romjin), useless/actress (Paris Hilton), wrestler/actor (John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Triple H), singer/actress (Madonna)...

Angelina Jolie.  I've seen her in several movies and I think most actors in low budget direct-to-video junk are more talented.

Richard Gere.  Was there ever a WORSE Lancelot?  Heck, John Cleese was more believable in HOLY GRAIL than Gere was in FIRST KNIGHT!!!

Persis Khambatta. I thought she did a pretty good job of switching between a dewy-eyed alien and an emotionless gynoid until I saw that she played all of her roles like that.

I know prolonged exposure over most of the 80s and 90s might have lessened the impact of his bad acting, but Arnold Schwarzenegger is shocking. I think it would take a truly great actor to be less convincing on purpose...

Well, at least he never claimed to be much of an actor. I give Arnold credit for knowing the difference between an actor and a star. If he'd laboured under the delusion that he could get anywhere on acting ability, he would have been starring in movies with Persis Khambatta. Arnold just wanted success, and he succeeded because he put the effort into marketing himself, which was much easier for him than getting there on talent. It amazes me how readily we accepted Americans with names like John Kimball and Doug Quaid who spoke in thick Austrian accents. I suppose it's the same reason we don't care that every Irish, Russian or Spanish character Sean Connery plays sounds Scottish. He's so good, he can sell it without being the least bit convincing.

I have to say, for sheer hamminess and goofy line delivery, Arnold was at his peak in Total Recall. Whether he was screaming and flipping out or just trying to carry on a dialogue, it was fun to watch, especially when he's sharing a scene with Ronny Cox and Michael Ironside, who actually can act. He seems so out of place, and yet he's the star.

"Come on, Cohagen. You gut wut you want. Gif dis pipple ear."  BounceGiggle Cracks me up every time.

But nothing compares to watching young Arnold before he'd completely learned to speak English, never mind learning anything about acting.
