We did Caveman last week... not so great.  We give "Stella Stars" for great movies, and I think we'll grade "Meh" movies in "Ringo Starrs" now.

This week I'm torn as to what to watch.  I don't want something that will be lame again.

Options at the top of my list are:

Flash Gordon
Death Race 2000

Because I *know* they're good podcast material and we can get a lot of good quotes and dumb schlock moments out of them.

The rest of the foul pool:

A Boy and his Dog
Barbarian Queen 1-2
Basket Case 1-3
Battle Beyond the Stars
Big Trouble in Little China
Black Sheep
Blood Sucking Freaks
Bug (1975)
Cherry 2000
Cyborg 1, 2, or 3
Dark Star
Dawn of the Dead
Death Race 2000
Disorderlies
Dracula 2000
Dracula AD 1972
Dragonslayer
Equinox
Escape from NY and LA
Fantastic Voyage
Firebirds (sucks but I'm an extra in it, yay me)
Fist of the North Star (not the anime)
Flash Gordon
Forbidden Planet
Galaxina
Galaxy of Terror
G-savior
Gymkata
Hell comes to Frogtown
House (1977 TOHO "Hausu")
House 1-2
Inframan
Judge Dredd
Kentucky Fried Movie
Killdozer
Knightriders
Kung Fu Cyborg
Life Force
Lost in Space
Mars Attacks
Master of the Flying Guillotine
Masters of the Universe
Motel Hell
Night of the Leapus
Night of the Living Dead
Nun of That
Phantasm 1-4
Prophecy
Pumpkinhead
Razor Blade Smile
Return of the Living Dead
Returner
Scanners 1-3
Slave girls from beyond infinity
Space Mutiny
Starship Invasions
Street Fighter (Van Damme 94)
Subspecies 1-4
Super Mario Brothers
Swamp Thing
Tank Girl
The 6th Day (Arnie!)
The Abominable Dr Phibes
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai
The Angry Red planet
The Black Hole
The Fatal Flying Guillotine
The Gate 1-2
The Guyver 1-2
The Hand
The Holy Mountain
The Host
The Last Man on Earth
The Last Starfighter
The Sword and the Sorcerer
The Thing
THEM
They Live
Time Bandits
Tokyo Gore Police
Universal Soldier
Versus
Voyage into Space (Giant Robo)
War of the Worlds
Westworld
Wing Commander
Xanadu

Or I can dip into Netflix watch instantly, or start getting VHS tapes out of the closet.

Anybody want to weigh in on Death Race vs. Flash (AAA-AHHHHHH!) or name favorites from the rest of our collection that we should bubble up to the top of the to-do list?

I do own a copy of both movies but promised myself not to watch them until I finally dig up the sorceres from '82. Already got the Death Stalkers, Warrior Queen, Barbarian Queens and the Amazons. Its a series of spin-offs and sequels.

I'm pretty sure you'll survive the watch, it's not like we're talking about Flesh Gordon  Wink

So that's what happened to my soul.

BQ probably isn't a great movie but I'll always remember if fondly as the movie that got me into exploitation.  I think you could fashion a decent review for it.  I have no idea about BQ2.

A HAUSU review certainly wouldn't be dull, but might not be the best for quotes (there's not a dubbed version, is there?)

TIME BANDITS is very quotable, that might make an excellent podcast candidate.

Well...  this week we're doing Basket Case.  Next week is H3 (the one with masks that kill) and after that... undecided.  Maybe Beerfest while we're still close to Octoberfest.

Movies I'm wanting to do:
Ator
Lethal Force
Black Shampoo
Kill and Kill Again
Eliminators
