Hey guys and gals, I've been perusing Bleeding Skull as of late and they're pretty big fans of SOV flicks. What do you think is the best and/or worst SOV horror movie? I've seen a couple (ie: Blood Cult, The Ripper, Boardinghouse, etc...), but to me, the best (aka worst) would have to be Blood Lake (1987) - a quite awful slasher about a dude who stalks teens armed with a survival knife - can't remember much about the plot really, well it is a slasher, so that's not really important. But I do remember that it was mind bendingly bad. So can anyone think of some really awful examples of SOV films? The more obscure the better.

What is Bloody Skull??  I tried to look up on Google.com and had no luck.

Let me Google that for you!  Wink

Gosh, such a wonderful website.  Their reviews are humorous but they aren't smart-a$$ed.  You can tell they genuinely love and are knowledgeable about film.  Site hasn't been updated in a long time but they've been working a book and the site will get fired up again next year.  Their feature articles are great, too, like My Fat Sheriff:
A Study Of Overweight Law Enforcement's Effectiveness & Culpability In The Slasher Film

This was recommended to me at another forum a few years ago. I tried to like it but I couldn't get into it. HHOH5 certainly has its moments but the cheese was too dull for me.
Yeah I got it on the hype of the amazon/imdb reviews, didn't quite live up to expectation but an interesting watch anyway. The scene with the girl in the car was the highlight, rarely seen such a bad combination of acting and script lol
