I have seen the advertisement for this movie called Splice.  Have anyone else seen it?  http://www.splicethefilm.com/
The name of the move, the female alien looking thing and the font look specially like Species.  I wouldn't mind seeing it, I like space alien genetics gone bad movies.

What do you guys think?

Some critics have been talking about it.  It has an 86% so far on Rotten Tomatoes, but Bloody Disgusting gave it low marks.  I'm mildly interested, but not enough to pay the outrageous theater prices.

It does look interesting, between the visual effects and what I've read about the story. Sounds like there's some kind of a love triangle going on with this deadly human-animal chimera. And with Vincenzo Natali directing, I'm pretty sure I'll like it. The guy started his directing career with Cube, after all. He's got a knack for the creepy and unconventional.

I'm looking forward to it.  Like mentioned before, it does have that sort of Species vibe to it.  I was also picking up some X-Files in there.  While I don't see major horror franchise written on it, I think it has the potential to be one of those over looked sci-fi films.  The kind you hear good things about, but still wait to see on DVD or cabel.

I'm pretty much like everyone else at this point.  I've seen the previews and thought, "that looks kinda cool" but I'm still unsure.  Hopefully it will deliver an innovative monster because movies like this need a kick in the @ss.
