The old board will remain as an archive (at least for now).  Please enjoy the new board and please let me know of any problems you find.

I tried to configure the program to run as close to the old in look and feel as was possible.  It does support better threading and lots of nice features for me on the admin side.  Plus, they are working on a "show latest" for this version; it should be ready any day now.

A show latest option will be cool because it gets kinda annoying to search pages back to find if people responded to you or not or just to find new messages

One of the other nice things - if you want to really keep track of the thread you can have it email you when replies are posted.

The green and black bars were pretty jarring at first, but I got used to it.  I like the full screen text as opposed to the boxed in kind.

woo, seem i'm not alone inmst3k withdrawl. Cold, golden turkey, yas might say! Peter johnson, yes i do mention Dr madblood. I spent a week in Norfolk once, and caught a bit of his show late one night. Here in Ohio, we were blessed with Ghoulardi, aka ernie anderson. Ron sweed, who used to gopfer for Ernie, got  his blessing to wear the hairy hat and shades with one lens missing, and is doing The Ghoul in Cleveland. And yes, he's still big in parma! A  book i found in the library,TV HORROR HOSTS, lists  all the grest late night hosts, and their backgrounds. our man in Columbus,Fritz the nite owl, has gotten a gig at a low power station, and does what he can with the limeted film vault. A guy i work with is into this kind of stuff. He loaned me some  compilation tapes of Svengooli,Zackerly( who is Irish i bet. who else would say"don't ya know" with a lilt.),Chilly Billy ,son of Ghoul, and The Ghoul...Manna from...heaven? oh well. About blue screen, i'd like to learn about that too.any ideas, gang?

I kinda like the new Phorum.  The only request I would have is an easy out to get back to your home page.

Overall, it's a nice upgrade.

Damn, I used to love Madblood -- really atrocious local actors, dumb jokes, crayon illustrations from 10year old viewers -- and hell, the damn show was on at like 2am, wasn't it?  What the hell were all those young children doing up at 2am?!?!?  Oh, the talking sheep-brain in the jar, that Vampira wannabe with the ENORmous honker!!  The one-camera/welded in place shooting style. . . .I could go on and on . . .
We -- Bill Hammel and I from the HOMEMOVIES show -- did about 15 episodes of a show called MOVIE MAESOLEUM, with him as Digger(Sort of a Count Floyd vampire-type) & me as the doofy mad-scientist sidekick.  I was consciously patterning the freak I did on MADBLOOD!!-- I'm so sorry it never took off -- Colorado PBS ran only 4 or 5 of the shows we shot & shelved the rest.
Damn, we're everywhere, aren't we?  There should be a magazine:  Horror Show Host Wannabe
