Well, I decided to take a peek at the forum one more time. After reading the encouragement in my thread, I realised that I was overeacting about the whole acceptance thing (thanks Powell, Newt and Doggett). So, here I am again. Terribly sorry about the whole leaving thing.

Lagomorphs: menace or underutilized resource?

If it helps any, I've been here longer than most people still posting on this forum, and I still feel that my posts are ignored about half the time. Luckily for me, I like to spout pointless opinions enough that the whole "very few people read my posts" thing stopped bothering me after, oh, say, my 1700th post.  TeddyR Of course, I also have this same feeling in real life, so it could just be that I'm whatever the opposite of paranoid is. Instead of "everyone is out to get me," I think, "I'm invisible" (which really got me into trouble when I tried to sneak into the girls' locker room  Twirling).

Glad you decided to stick around.  It can be hard coming into a smaller board like this one where everyone seems to know the inside joke but you. It can feel like intruding on a strange family reunion or something   TeddyR   I feel like that but post anyway. Almost all places have cliques, that's life. It takes all kinds to make a place like this fun.. The weird people(my favorite), the funny people, the people you wish would post more, the smart ones.. There is a place for everyone here and that is what makes this place cool.

I look forward to reading your post.  Smile

After all these years, I'm still trying to figure out what that is in your avatar, Derf.

My avatar is Max from the comic/video game Sam & Max. Sam and Max are Freelance Police, taking the law into their own hands with extreme prejudice. I love their first video game, "Sam & Max Hit the Road." I actually played it before I ever saw the comics, but I love the comics as well.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled thread...
