RIP Gary. From the article, it sounds like his life was pretty tumultuous, but I'll always remember him with a smile on his face.

He seemed like a troubled soul in his latter years. I hope he is at peace now.

I think Gary was the first celebrity I really ever liked. I remember being about three or four and watching new episodes of Diff'rent Strokes with my family. It was one of the first shows I remember liking as a kid. That and Punky Brewster. Think I might check Hulu or some other websites and see if I can watch old episodes.

R.I.P. Gary. You left us way too soon. You'll always remain an 80s icon for me and I'm sure many others.

RIP Gary. It's kind of aggravating seeing so many tasteless jokes on sites like IMDB and whatnot.

I agreed with you Pilgermann on Yahoo people still making fun of his death with his trademark he hasn't done in two decades. R.I.P Gary another great star I grew up on in the 70's and 80's gone forever like Dixie Carter and now Dennis Hopper.
