Not from me.

I really cannot stand Al Gore's politics.  In a manner of speaking, you could say we are political "enemies."

But I don't wish a marriage ending on anybody.  This is just sad to hear.   

I can only hope at this point that people, on both sides of the aisle, honor their request:  DO respect their privacy and let them work through this with as much dignity and respect as is possible in such a situation.

wow, 40 years together.. I guess if after that many years things arent working out its either split up or sit around waiting for the other one to die. Sad, really.

The report suggest the divorce is amicable. This is still sad news, but I'm glad it's not a scandal-ridden story like we usually see in these high-profile cases.

I'm with Ulthar.  I don't like Gore's politics and never have, but I am sad to see a long marriage end . . . may they both find peace.
