Going back to the original topic, I'd like to thank the Germans for the word/phrase: backpfeifengesicht, translating to "A face that badly needs to be punched/slapped."

Those Germans. So efficient. TeddyR

True. I'm also fond of "schadenfreude," which basically means to take joy in the misfortune of others. I this case, I would probably experience schadenfreude over watching the poster in question suffer the consequences of his own backpfeifengesicht.

Not really a strange word, but an interesting one - particularly to Star Wars fans.

Several years ago I was watching a movie that had embedded Dutch subtitles (don't ask! Actually you can - it was a ultra-rare copy of TWISTED NERVE, recorded from Dutch TV) and one character had a long conversation with his father.

The Dutch translation of 'Father'? Vader!

From Babel Fish:

In het Nederlands

vader

Wow, I was gone all weekend. Must have missed some drama. I feel like my playful asking of an "underpants" translation inadvertently sparked something.

That's what I thought was weird. This guy jumps on Trevor for talking about underpants when he didn't even raise the subject. Bizarre.

If it was Nicole Kidman or Sandra Bullock jumping on me, then fine but not that SOB from South Africa whose screen name "Blou Ballas" means "Blue Balls".  Buggedout

Anyway, there has been a tremendous outpouring of support for Trevor from the entertainment industry:
