When I was growing up as a kid I would sometimes spend the night at my cousins house especially during summer vacation.Anyway my aunt loved to watch horror films.I once remember her watching this old horror movie(probably a B movie)about some people that were on an island I think.Anyway the one scene I remember was like this guy crawling through a cave and he turns one corner in the cave and comes face to face with a zombie like figure.Then you just hear the guy scream in sheer terror.It could have been something to do with an island cult too because the guy looked like he had some kind of a cape or robe on.Anyone care to take a STAB at this one?

No, I THINK you posted in the right place.  I think it gets moved to UNSOLVED after a period of time without a correct response so that the list of "active" unsolved movies stays short in a separate thread.

Could be you are remembering the first few scenes of Screamers.

It's a fish-man movie but the first few minutes are about people going into a cave for treasure.  One of them gets terrorized by a zombie-like creature.  It's a woman wearing a huge 1800s-style dress, could easily be mistaken for a cape if your memory is hazy.

It's definitely not Screamers but we are headed in the right direction.I think this was a late 60's,early 70's movie.

Actually a coincidental viewing last night of a old brazillian horror classic Coffin Joe's This Night I Will Possess Your Corpse has a scene in the middle of the film in color in which Coffin Joe has a dream where he is dragged to hell.In the hell scene the colors and the screaming were spot on of the movie I was thinking of and I remember big claws on a hand and Coffin joe does have claws on his hands so I'm pretty sure this is the movie i'm thinking of now.We can determine this one to be solved now.
