When I'm bored I often entertain myself by thinking what one song I would like to perform in some fashion, if I actually had any musical talent.

What always happens is I can't pick just one!

Some constantly reoccuring songs:

The dentist song from The Little Shop of Horrors

Think of Me with Kindness - Gentle Giant

I Want to Break Free - Queen

Lightning Strikes - Klaus Nomi


Anybody ever experience anything similar?

If I had a band with me and I could do the keyboards to the song, I'd love to do "Smoke From A Distant Fire" by the Sanford-Townsend Band.  That song just lifts me up anytime I hear it.

Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself' is my go-to karaoke song.  If I had a band I would constantly have "River of Deceit" by Mad Season on my list.  It's so sad yet peaceful at the same time, and relatively easy to sing.
