I submitted a story to Cutting Block Press's new horror anthology, Horror Library vol. 5.  They were pretty much at the top of my list, so if they don't accept it, there are many others on the way down.   Cheers

Aye, my writing plate's full.  I have three critiques to write by Wednesday, a novel I've started basic outlining/writing, and a short story I want to touch up.

Good luck.  Was your story published somewhere else first?  I don't remember anthologies ever publishing works for the first time.  Has the business changed that much?  It could be, with very few magazines to submit short fiction to anymore.

It's unpublished material.  Most places, even for anthologies, want non-exclusive first written and electronic publishing rights these days.  There isn't a whole lot in the way of magazines left to submit to.  These days, it's mostly websites with e-zines or publishing companies that make anthologies.  This one will be a hard one to get in on, what with there being some big names who still submit to it.
