Speaking of getting smacked in the face...

17. RoboCop 3 (1993)... What the Hell happen?  Really... WHAT THE HELL HAPPEN?

The movie tried to cash in on the "jap bashing" trend that lasted a couple years around the time it was made, hence the japanese villains, robot ninjas, etc.

The movie did clear up one star wars mystery, though. I'd  always wondered why vader kept fett from shooting chewbacca in Empire, I'd never understood vader stopping fett from just shooting chewbacca. Now I get it: Vader was't saving chewbacca, he was saving c-3po...

lol...

Too bad Vader didnt say, "C-3PO, I'm your father!"

26. The Blair Witch Project - wow... total crap and its brilliance is taking a bunch of people, dump them in the woods and play spooky sounds in the dark; and then see what happens. (The brilliance it the amount of money the film has made based upon generated hype).

Yeah, there was something of a drought of cliched villians in the 90's - Hollywood hadn't quite embraced Middle Easterners and the Russians were just so passe'.

Japan was kicking America's butts economically at the end of the 80's so they got the prize by default, I guess. By the time all the evil Japan movies came out their bubble had burst, so making them the stock villians seems a bit mean spirited in retrospect.

Just for ducks, here's a clip of Norm McDonald on Conan's old show ragging on Courtey Thorne-Smith for appearing in a movie with Carrot Top.

The fun starts around the 3:30 mark.

33. Quest for Camelot (1998)

It rips off so many Disney films, has terrible musical numbers or songs that don't make sense in the context of the scene they are used in it, and wastes it's all star cast on bad dialogue and a lack luster story.  Makes A Troll in Central Park almost look good.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

hmmmm... I liked CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD at least it was silly, dumb and funny... [oddly I wish Carrot Top did more movies]

34. The First Wives Club (1996)... wasnt silly or funny and it tried to hard not to be dumb... but it was depressing. Comedies should be silly, funny and/or dumb... but not depressing.
