God, I wish I'd known about this sooner.  In the paper today I just read about a local horror festival with some decent guests, notably Roger Corman.  I could probably make it out on Sunday when he'll be speaking and signing autographs.  There's also going to be a Fright Night and Night of the Creeps cast reunion (From Fright Night: William Ragsdale, Stephen Geoffreys, Amanda Bearse, Chris Sarandon and from Creeps: Jill Whitlow, Jason Lively, Tom Atkins, Allan Kayser, and Steve Marshall).  There's also various folks from some of the Halloween flicks, Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead (original), Nightmare on Elm St. and more.

Something really cool that's going on tonight is that the Georgetown Drive-In in Georgetown, Indiana is featuring Corman as a guest and they'll be showing an original drive-in print of Death Race 2000 using a carbon arc projector!  I think they're also showing Grand Theft Auto.  Tomorrow night there's a triple feature of Night of the Creeps, Fright Night, and A Nightmare on Elm Street, also being shown with the carbon arc projector.  They'll have some guests like Heather Langenkamp from Nightmare, and the guy that played the young deformed Jason in the original Friday the 13th will be there and he's apparently playing music.  Plus they sell deep fried red velvet twinkies!

I'm really bummed that I can't make it to either drive-in event 'cause they sound like a lot of fun.  Anyone that wants more info can check these sites:
