The Carina Nebula

The galaxy Messier 83

The Heart and Soul nebulae

The constellation Cassiopeia

I'm not sure the universe is news worthy, after all it has been there for a very long time. But I thought they looked so cool and I can't help but think of all the other life out there in distant galaxies...Probably sitting bu their computers the same as us ! ha!  TeddyR

Sorry if this thread made you feel small and insignificant compared to the awesomeness of the universe.  Wink

I've always been in awe of stuff like that.  I've got a book full of pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope and some of the stuff out there is just spectacular.

That intergalactic space amoeba that attacked the Enterprise - it's really out there!

Heh, kinda reminds me of the original outer limits where the end creds would roll against a background of astronomical pictures and some really awe inspiring music would play.

Damn, I kinda wish I could get the original Ol end theme as a MP3...

Earth is visited by a GIANT ANTIMATTER SPACE BUZZARD! Gawk at the amazingly bad bird puppet, or chuckle over the silly dialog. This is one of the greatest b-movies ever made.
