Very stupid.  The idea is to mandate that all cell phones, Ipods etc. broadcast FM radio.  Not in the public interest at all.  I'd like the option to be able to buy a cheaper cell phone with no FM radio, as there is almost 0% chance I would ever listen to radio on my cell phone.

Why does this need to be mandatory?  I have devices with FM radios on them, and I never use the radio part.  Hell, I bought an MP3 player so I wouldn't have to listen to the radio, all because they were ruining bands for me by overplaying them.
