This is not your standard run of the mill cop story ~ four dedicated undercover cops discover a conspiracy at the highest level of government and one of them is killed when he tries to expose the dealings which include drug and weapons smuggling. His three friends then resign from the force and fight fire with fire to expose the bad guys in government and to avenge their friend's murder.
Not a bad film (not yet available on DVD strangely) and it contains a wonderful exchange between Brian Dennehy and the chief baddie:
CB: "Tell me where the money is!"
BD: "Sh*thouse."
CB: "What?"
BD: "The cesspool!"
