The craziest thing about this movie isn't that it has a dessert which kills you, but rather that some random guy sees a BIG PILE OF OOZE COMING OUT OF AN EARTHQUAKE CRACK AND IMMEDIATELY STARTS EATING IT!!

I mean, WTF!?  If I see a bunch of white froth coming out of the GROUND the last thing I'd do is eat it.

I agree.  I would be WTF is this?  I would assume that some in Hades would using foam insulation (Good Stuff) and just over filled the crack to keep Hades warm.

One of the most WTF lines in movie history.

"Everyone has to eat shaving cream once in a while."

I loved this movie. Crazy then and crazy now.

If you haven't seen it already, the director's commentary on this DVD is LEGENDARY.

Larry Cohen talks about how he still has one of the contorted Garrett Morris prop heads in his closet, Michael Moriarty refused to be in his movie unless he got him a new toupee (he had one made for every Cohen movie he's in), and blamed the movie's box office failure on the fact that it premiered in NYC and it was really windy that day, so all of their leaflets and fliers that were up all over town got blown away.  If only it hadn't been so windy, this movie would have STUFFED the box office!!

Reminds me of the Hoff blaming his Pay Per View special's epic failure on the OJ white bronco chase, which happened to be going on at the same time.
