Is anyone else looking foward to this? I personally can't wait! The trailers look great. I'm a huge fan of the original and I have high hopes this will be awesome as well.

Linnea Quigley has a cameo in this too, thats so cool.
Release date: Oct. 19 2010.

Ed's looking quite bloated  BounceGiggle (I am interested to see his performance)

But Bobbi Sue's looking good.....

I am very much looking forward to this.  Cheers

The only things I remember about the original are the lipstick in the boob and the music by bauhaus... My ex was a huge Bauhaus fan so hearing them gives me awful flashbacks   TeddyR

Yup, the lipstick in the boob gig. I'm sure thats in this version because most of new trailers hints it.

From the original, yeah Angela's Stigmata Martyr dance was creepy, but so awesome.

But till today, Linnea Quigley's scene in the store will always be my favorite.

Sorry to hear that 3mnkids, because this movie started my interest in Bauhaus. The "Stigmata Martyr" dance was a well done scene in what was otherwise a very silly movie.

I'm a fan of the original, it pretty much nailed everything I love about '80s horror. Plus, Linnea Quigley. I'm not too excited about the remake, because why? It does have that Diora Baird in it, however. I'll probably watch anything she shows up in for what I imagine are very obvious reasons.

I love the original  Cheers I did not know that there was a remake  Question. just like most of the horror movies Hollywood has no shame or creativity.  I saw the trailer http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1955399961/ and the new movie has potential.  I will have to check it out.  (Trailer is not work safe or little kid safe)

Night of the Demons 2010. A good example of a good remake.

I'm not good with reviews, I'm a noob. But I wanted to share my thoughts.

First, the new back story gives the entire movie a creepy atmosphere.

Angela in demon form looks great, definitely an upgrade from the 1988 ver.
Transformations to demons via Jacob's Ladder/The House on Haunted Hill fast head twitching effects. 100% cool, that always did freak me out.

Lots of new surprises and scares. You wont know when its coming!

Good music, bigger and better party. Angela's new "demon dance" Black No. 1 by Type O Negative was good and VERY interesting at the end! But I still have to go with the 80's Stigmata Martyr dance to be my favorite.

Linnea Quigley stills looks great! Hey, nice dress.

Ed does a great job, He's a little annoying sometimes but that's OK.
Monica Keena seems a little emotionless at times. But did an OK job.

Shannon Elizabeth is so HOT in this film! She does a great job.

I loved the upgraded gigs and jokes from the 1988 ver. A+
IMO it's not a blockbuster but its a really fun movie to watch.
If you loved the 1988 ver. You'll enjoy this remake.
A must see on Halloween! Lots of laughs, gore, scares and fishnets.
Well other then a few rants/I don't get its I must say I enjoyed this movie!

Soundtrack

45 Grave - Night Of The Demons
The Ghastly Ones - Ghastly Stomp
The Barbarellatones - Boris Karloff
Creature Feature - Aim For The Head
SwinginNeckbreakers - No Costume, No Candy
Haunted Garage - Two Headed Transplant
The Death Riders - The World Belongs To You
Concrete Blonde - Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)
Zombie Girl - Blood, Brains, And Rock and Roll
TSOL - Code Blue
Deadbeat - Legions Of The Damned
Wednesday 13 - Gimme Gimme Bloodshed
Psycho Charger - Invasion Of the Ballsnatchers
Frankenstein - Black Lung
Type O Negative - Black No. 1
Goatwhore - Reckoning Of The Soul Made Godless

Spoilers and rants below. Please don't read if you didn't see the movie.

I loved the "Jake Fratelli" that was pulled on the demons at the very end.

I didn't like the whole ancient element idea. Rust? Lol not happening.

The maid's old protected room was a good idea but... how did the demons manipulate the survivor's watches inside the room? The fake daylight and bird sounds I can understand but the rule was the demon's powers are not allowed to work in that room. Weird.

Did Dex bite Ed on the leg after the bloodbath? How did he turn into a demon... the fall? She even asked him if he got bitten and he didn't answer her. WTH?

They should have made at least 2 survivors like the 80's version, also I didn't like the name change. Broussard Mansion over Hull House.
