This is the same cast and crew and most of the same characters from "Slumber Party" (2005). You'd think I'd just add this to the Slumber Party topic but no here it is another topic. The trailer actually works this time
The brilliant theme song is definately a highlight here. This isn't as good as Slumber Party because the girls aren't in it nearly enough. I don't like men, I want to watch girls not men. The only movie I like that is mostly guys is "Master Killer" with Gordon liu because he does all those awesome chambers. So the two idiots from slumber party are the stars here. Their mother's disgusting foot is going to be amputated unless they can come up with 1,000 dollars in a day. They go around attempting and failing this is various silly ways. Aw HELL naw! is not said as much as in Slumber party.
The actors and writers have the right attitude but it's really missing something outrageous or interesting to take you into the actual laugh zone. You look at a movie like Borat, every joke is insane or disgusting. You gots to sing for your supper, you can't just "be funny" and call it a day and expect people to see your s**t. There is a whole section of the movie of them just walking around doing rote sort of buddy comedy from like 10 minutes in to 45 that is just an endurence test.
Things pick up when they meet their cousin Super Crip who really loves the Crips gang so he has a cape made of blue bandanas and has a blue painted white wig or something and says "cuz" at the end of every thought. "what you mean CUZ" "for real CUZ?" The rest of the movie isn't hilarious and it's incredibly low budget and silly but it's not as flat out insleepinating as the middle section.
3/5 would not really recommend. It's not offensively unfunny and parts of it are okay but this team needs to step it up in more ways than one. We'll see if they can in tonights feature "Nerd Boy".
